Metamoris 5

After teasing us for a few days about an announcement, Metamoris Pro finally came through! Metamoris 5!  Its looking like it could be a good one.  Here is the lineup...

I'm not sure which matches are Gi or No-Gi but I believe it will break down like this. Saku/Renzo will be No-Gi, Rory/JT will be in the Gi, Yuri/Lovato will be in the Gi, Vinny/KC will be No-Gi, and Tonon/Maxwell will be No-Gi.

One issue I have with the event and Ralek is that it is scheduled on the same day of the Copa Podio Middle Weight Grand Prix.  I hate having to choose events, however, I've already decided which event to watch...both! Since the IBJJF Montreal open is that day and I am planning on competing, I'll watch both the next day as I'm sure they will be online.  If I had to choose one event to watch on that day, I would have chose the Copa Podio as I feel they have more compelling match-ups and more Gi match-ups.  

The other issue I have is with the lack of a female matchup.  There are PLENTY of female Black Belts out there who I'm sure would compete.  How about...Gezary Matuda, Hannette Staack, Mackenzie Dern, Chelsea Bainbridge-Donner, Ronda Rousey, Bea Mesquita...you get my drift. Maybe the "Secret match"  will be a female matchup.
