Thoughts

in form

Trained two classes (beginner and advanced) last night after about a week and a half off with a jacked up neck and a flu-like virus.  I didn't get totally smashed but it definitely wasn't that pretty. In the beginner class we drilled a chain of techniques and then did some situational drills.  In the advance class, I managed to get the MOTD down easily and made it through all the drills. Sparring wasn't great, but I moved well (at least I thought).

Some general observations...I do have to get my cardio back to where it needs to be.  10 days off the mats and out off the gym put a small dent in my conditioning...Both classes were packed. There were a few brand new faces and a few new faces who have been there for a month or so. Its great to have new people coming in, both for us and for the Professor...Speaking of the Professor, he was in form.  Armbared me 6 different ways I think. Pan NoGis are in 2 weeks...Speaking of Pans, I am not competing but I will go down to watch some high level Jiu-Jitsu.  I will post some pics and video to the YouTube page.
