My media evaluation project at work has been put on hold for a bit.  Unfortunately, we weren't able to get clearance to use the leftover meat samples which we had on hand from another project, and organizationally we (supposedly) don't have the money laying around to fund it on our own just yet.  I was excited about this project because of the opportunity to do some work with a bit more meaning then my normal routine, and of the potential for a publication.  Hopefully in the near future some money will materialize to continue this project, I'll keep after my supervisor about it so it stays on her "to-do list".  Just when you start to think things will be changing for the better, this place has a way of Tomoe nageing you when you least expect it.
