Thoughts

Bravo

Training today was pretty damn good.  We did our usual warm-ups and then worked on some open guard positions.  After this we broke up into groups of three or four and fought for two rounds and took a round off and then back at it.  Like I tweeted earlier, I was in a group of sharks and got worked over.  It was like something out of a movie.  I kept getting hit from every angle.  I was with Jimmy, Brian and Darren Mima a pro fighter out of Kingston, NY.  All tough guys, with different games, speed, pressure and power.

This is the kind of shit I need if I want to do well in NY next month.  I'll sleep good tonight.  I haven't registered for Boston yet, but I will.  There is still time.  I gotta see who is going and who wants to split a hotel room.  I don't want to drive, but I will plan on it.

Other notes...I've been going through my blog this week making some small adjustments, mostly to the Images tab.  For starters, I put the related pictures in chronological order, and added some captions and a few additional pictures.  Looking through my pics, I realized that I never put up any of my San Diego/Atos pictures.  Definitely gonna have to dig those out and put them up.  I also added some from my Christmas trip to Marcelo Garcia's Alliance academy in NYC...The Eddie Bravo Invitational is going on right now, and it is A SHOW.  Metamoris needs to step its game up.  There has been subs left and right.  Closeouts?  What's that??  Big Ups to Eddie Bravo for continuing to push the limits and getting Jiu-Jitsu more accessible to fans and more main stream.  If there is a "Jiu-Jitsu" hall of fame, he needs to be in it.
