short timer
So I underestimated how healed up my side is. I went to the gym the other day and did some light ab work, sit-ups, leg lifts and oblique twists. I went very light and slow and everything seemed fine until the oblique twists where I had some sharp pains when I stretched. Also while I've been training its felt sore when I turn and twist and use my abs to do anything. Its kind of frustrating but it is what it is. I just gotta take it easy and medicate, stretch and apply heat and ice to keep it loose.
The academy has moved into the new building completely now and this week we will be starting the new schedule. There are a few changes, the daily kids classes which were at 5 now move to 6 pm and all other night BJJ classes are shifted back by an hour. MMA classes are now M-Th at 6 pm and it looks like on Friday we have open mat at 7. We added a morning class on Wednesday at 630 and we still have the midday class at 1130.
On another note, 11 days til holiday! Everything is ready to go, I just have to pack my suitcase and get a jacket that is waterproof. I think everyone (kid,gf and myself included) is getting more excited the closer we get. My cousins flew out this past Tuesday and are there now but they leave the day after we arrive so we won't get to see them there. I was looking on Facebook and Twitter and it seems as if they are having a good time as I'm sure we will also.
