Thoughts

grind

I've been a but lax with my posts lately, but I'm still here.  Training has been going well for the most part.  Just kind of been grinding along, trying to put techniques together and be more consistent.  I have felt a bit more relaxed and confident in my rolls lately and been more cerebral about things.

I tweeted the other day regarding a bjj road trip, and I was hoping to make it to Unity in NYC. Unfortunately I am a bit low on the ducats and Unity is having worlds camp this week and the next so I decided to postpone my trip down there.  I might see if I can swing through Black Hole this Wednesday evening so I can get some work with different people.  My daughter and girl are going to Ed Sheeran and I was supposed to drop them off at the show but maybe they can cab it or get dropped off earlier.  We will figure it out, hopefully with not too much grief.

On a work note...My new supervisor, once my current one retires in 33 days, is going to be the assistant lab director.   I'm excited to be talked down to, micromanaged and trivialized at every opportunity.
