movement
Had a good lifting session today. Did a "jail workout", meaning I hit everybody part (2 exercises per, 3 sets each) and then even got some cardio in (high intensity intervals). Tomorrow I will train again and will do both the intermediate class and the beginner class. Its looking like Saturday I will be heading to NYC so I will be able to stop in and train at one of the academies down there. I haven't decided which one I will stop in at, VSBJJ, MGA, or RGA. Brian recommended RGA as he said the classes are set up more like our classes. I have time to decide still. I will make up Saturdays strength and conditioning session on Friday during my lunch time. Well at least I hope, I just gotta remember to prep my workout gear and throw it in the car. Next week I am going to probably take a long lunch one day in order to train at our morning class.
So far, since I put my plot into action, I have managed to step up my bjj training time, the amount of cardio training time and hit the weights a bit harder...even with taking a day of lifting off and a day of cardio off. I gotta keep this up and also start to up my protein intake to recover faster.
Its not about the colour of the belt, cuz I will be the best blue belt that I can be, its about position recognition and understanding, its about consistency, and its about personal satisfaction on the journey. Hustle harder.
