less then 20

Last week the results for our baseline samples were tested at the CDC and the results were sent back to us.  The particular test they used was the Brucella microagglutination test (BMAT). I tried to find a link explaining the test, but this proved more difficult than I anticipated.  I linked what I found above.

I am not sure what everyone else's results are but my result was <20 which is considered negative.  So far so good.  The next time point for testing will be the middle of next week, one month after exposure.  I did some internet research and found a recent case study from Alaska that gives a general explanation of what went on with their situation, some of which can be applied to our situation. After reading it, I am having some momentary doubts about not taking prophylaxis.  Ideally, I had wanted to compete next month, but if I will be placed on an antibiotic cocktail, it will be a waste of money.  :(
