The Ortho news wasn't too bad. No major damage (grade 1 sprain) based upon a physical exam, but no Jiu-Jitsu or lifting until I'm pain free and I have my strength back in my shoulder. Basically I can drill as much as my lack of strength and my pain tolerance will allow. I still need to take ibuprofen for now, just not as much as before, and I have to continue to ice and heat it as needed.
I did go in to the academy and work on some light technique yesterday along with some drilling at half speed and today I went to the gym and lifted very lightly just to get the blood flowing. Tomorrow I've got to do some research on shoulder/rotator cuff exercises while at work so I can prevent further injury and speed recovery. Hopefully later in the day I can go work on technique again.
