unexpected vacation

So I haven't trained or lifted normally in 2 weeks and I'm starting to go stir crazy.  Two weeks ago from Tuesday, I sprained my shoulder during training.  I wasn't doing some amazing technique, just scooting back with someone in my guard while he was pushing down to break my guard all of which was enough to make a crunching sound and cause instant pain.  I could barely move my arm by the time I made it home.  The next day, I ended up going to the Orthopaedist who X-rayed it and diagnosed me with a severe sprain and instructed me not to train or lift for two weeks until I had a followup appointment (this coming Wednesday).  The shoulder has gotten better with rest, ice, and ibuprofen but it is still pretty weak at this point.

I've been kind of lost without training and lifting.  My daughter said I should look at it like I was on a vacation, which isn't a bad idea I suppose.  I've kept up with my cardio, but to me cardio isn't that much fun, it's a means to an end.  These past two Sundays, I popped in to watch class.  It was good to see everybody, but I started jonesing to get out there as they were training.  Ideally, I am hoping to get a good report from the Ortho and then start drilling on Thursday to work my way back into Jiu-Jitsu shape.
