So I spent most of the day today doing things related to my trip.  I ran errands to pick up a few things I needed, jeans, deodorant etc.  When I got home I started to lay out my clothing and other necessities so I could plan my wardrobe and start laundry.  This took most of the afternoon and some of the morning.  I'm sure I packed too much stuff though.  I still have to get my shoes and toiletries but they will be a bit harder to get ready in advance since I need to use them right up until Wednesday morning.

The next two days will break down like this:  Tomorrow, I work my long day and go to bed per usual.  Tuesday, I'll work and then go to the gym for some cardio.  After this I'll pick up my daughter and bring her to my house and relax for a bit before going to train at the academy. After training, I'll finish up any remaining laundry and head to bed.

Wednesday will be a crazy day and I'll need to sleep on the plane so I came up with a plan.  I will get up at 6 AM to train so I burn some energy, then head home and shower so we can drop the car off by 130 PM and get to the terminal for a 630 PM flight which arrives around 6 AM Thursday.  I figure to sleep on the plane with the assistance of Tylenol PM and a drink or two along with being tired from the morning Gi session.

I am pretty excited about this trip. One of my favourite places to visit is Sligo, in the west of Ireland. People think Ireland is just Guinness or Blarney Castle, but it’s really much more. Since my daughter is going she will get to see family, and sight-see and get some great food.  I think she will enjoy herself. We have plans to check out Easkey Castle, Maeve’s Cairn on Knocknarea, Rosses Point, Mullaghmore, Yeats Grave site, and maybe hit up a Sligo Rovers match. I plan on adding in some some good beers and whiskeys for myself, along with all that other fun stuff :) Most importantly I will be able to bring her to visit my Grandmothers childhood home in Kilglass. On a jiujitsu note, I’ll have a chance to train at Alliance Sligo and at Killarney Grappling Club (a SBG affiliate) while I'm there.  The best part about Jiu-Jitsu is being able to go anywhere in the world and train as long as you are respectful.

And now, lemme get to bed since I'm pretty beat.
