thirst

I was gassed/dehydrated today in training.  I've been feeling kinda crappy for the past 2 days and have slept like shit.  Today I was so tired I napped for an hour and a half and was still exhausted. Not quite sure whats up.

My plan today and from now on is to pass and really work on this aspect of my game.  Pass and no guard pulling or guard play.  If I get swept or taken down, let them get the tap just so we can reset and I can try to pass again.  Its probably the fastest way to improve my passing and top game.  I remember when my guard sucked and everyone would CRUSH me, mainly because I trained with bigger guys and I didn't really know what I was doing.  Not so much anymore unless you are a higher belt.  By being forced to play off my back, I got better at the guard. Boston (one of the guys I train with) is a guard player.  I'll make it a point to roll with him at least 2x at when we are there together.  Oh and I'm going to drill.  I'm gonna drill passes like its going outta style.

Passing and top game definitely takes more out of you then working outta the guard.  Brian even asked if I was a little off today since I think he noticed my frustration at my attempts to pass.  Might have to work on my cardio more then lol.  But I have goals and if being frustrated and having to work harder are on the road to my goals, game on.
